Administrative Staff
Position: Enrollment Specialist
We are currently seeking an Enrollment Specialist.
Responsibilities:
· Assist students with course enrollment process
· Serve as the primary contact with outside callers
· Process fax and email requests
· Prepare completion certificates, evaluation forms, and other class materials
· Monitor classes in offsite locations.
Assist students and instructors with course registration process, fee collection, and other beginning and end of class duties
Required:
- Must be able to handle heavy phone volume
- Must be organized, customer-friendly, and professional
- Must be web-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and team-oriented
- Travel is REQUIRED and could include travel to the DC-Baltimore Metro Area, Prince Frederick, and other distant locations within Maryland, DC, and Virginia
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including some evenings, weekends, and or holidays
- Must have a car with valid insurance
- Event management experience in continuing education or seminar/conference administration is a plus

Position: Class Monitor
The Professional Development Institute is seeking part-time Class Monitors/Enrollment Specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Assist students and instructors with on-site course administration, registration, and fee collection
- Issue course completion certificates
- Collect and return instructor packets to the administrative office
- Input student’s information to PDI student registration system and bank course credits to DC Pearson Vue.
- Ensure that class locations are comfortable, bathrooms are clean, students return to class on time after breaks; food is not consumed in class.
- In event of an emergency where the instructor cannot come to class, contact the next available instructor to teach the class.
Required skills: Candidates must be organized, customer-friendly, and professional. Must be web-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Office, and team-oriented. Travel is REQUIRED and could include travel to the DC-Baltimore Metro Area, Salisbury, and others. Event management experience, continuing education or seminar/conference administration and problem solving skills are a big plus. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule including evenings, weekends, or holidays.
