PDI follows the local community colleges' weather closing schedule. For detailed information, please read below. (If the local community college is not in session, call PDI at 301-949-1771, press 4 for weather closing updates.)
 CONTINUING EDUCATION CLASSES
If the community college is closed, classes will be cancelled.
If college announces a 1-2 hour opening delay, any class beginning before 10:00am will be cancelled.
If college announces an early closing, classes scheduled to begin before the announced closing time will start at scheduled time. All classes beginning after scheduled closing time will be cancelled.
PRE-LICENSING PROGRAMS
(MD Salesperson Pre-licensing, MD Broker Pre-licensing,
MD Mortgage Originator Pre-licensing)
If your community college is closed, classes will be cancelled.
If college announces an opening delay, classes will begin after the delay. For example, if the college announces a 2-hr delay and class originally begins at 8:00 am, class will now begin at 10:00 am.
If college announces an early closing, classes scheduled to begin before the announced closing time will start at scheduled time. All classes beginning after scheduled closing time will be cancelled.

1. CLASSES IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY PLEASE FOLLOW MONTGOMERY COMMUNITY COLLEGE CLOSING SCHEDULE.
a. Check the Montgomery College's web site at http://www.montgomerycollege.edu/news/snowannouncement.html. Any closures or delays, due to inclement weather or other emergencies, will be announced on Montgomery College's homepage. You can also call Montgomery College, 301-279-5000, to hear an updated message, in the event of closures or delays.

2. FOR CLASSES IN PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY (E.G. LAUREL, LARGO, COLLEGE PARK), FOLLOW THE CLOSING SCHEDULE OF PRINCE GEORGE'S COMMUNITY COLLEGE (PGCC).

b. Please listen to the following radio stations or television.
c. Information concerning the college closing can also be obtained by calling 301-336-6000 or by going to PGCC's web site at www.pgcc.edu . The phone message for the Laurel College Center will also reflect any closings or delays, 1-866-228-6110 or 410-772-4162 (and may be easier to get through than the main campus line).
3. CLASSES AT BWI OR SEVERNA PARK, FOLLOW THE CLOSING SCHEDULE OF ANNE ARUNDEL COMMUNITY COLLEGE (AACC)
a. AACC's list of closing, http://www.aacc.edu/collegecalendar/closings.cfmb. Listen to local radio or TV stations for AACC closing announcements or call 410-777-2222. When the college closes, all classes at off-campus sites are cancelled.

4. CLASSES AT SALISBURY, FOLLOW SALISBURY STATE UNIVERSITY'S CLOSING SCHEDULE
- Salisbury State University: Should inclement weather result in classes being canceled, information will be given to local radio and television stations. Students can receive information concerning cancellations by listening to local stations or by calling the Gull Line at (410) 546-6426. (www.salisbury.edu)

| MAKE UPS, REFUNDS, OR TRANSFERS DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
PRE-LICENSING COURSES: If your class is cancelled due to inclement weather, all pre-licensing class make-ups will be rescheduled by your instructors at your next meeting. When classes are cancelled, instructors will schedule a make up session at no additional charge to you. The decision to cancel classes in-session will be made by instructors.
CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES: You may transfer or receive a full refund if your class is cancelled due to inclement weather. |
PDI'S ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE CLOSING
PDI's Administrative Office is normally open M-F 8:30 am - 5:00 pm. Our administrative office follows the Federal Government schedule for weather closing. For Federal Government Operating Status, please click here, or call US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) at (202) 606-1900.
- If the Federal Government is closed, our office will be closed.
- If the Federal Government is opened under delayed arrival by X hours, the office will open late by X hours late. For example, if the Federal Government announces a 2 hour delay, our office will be opened 2 hours late (10:30 am).
- If the Federal Government announces an unscheduled leave policy, liberal leave, code blue, etc., our office will be opened as normal.
- If the Federal Government announces an early dismissal by X hours, our office will close early by X hours. For example, if the Federal Government announces a 3-hour early dismissal, our office will close early by 3 hours (at 2:00 pm).
